Our timber furniture products are created out of recycled Messmate. Each piece is made by hand in Melbourne, and built to last.

Our recycled Messmate vanities come in multiple sizes and use premium Grass under mount drawer runners.

A little
about us
In The Thick of It was founded by Brendan, a sixth generation carpenter from Melbourne.
After many years constructing buildings of all sizes, Brendan decided to refine his skills and make the shift into furniture making. This has allowed him to spend more time with the two things he loves - timber and his two daughters.
